-Kappa Phi was founded 1916 at the University of Kansas by Mrs. Gordon B. Thompson. There are now 24 chapters across the nation.
-The Kappa Phi Club at Texas A&M University is the Beta Theta chapter and was founded in April of 1999.
-The four pillars of Kappa Phi are worship, study, sisterhood, and service.
-The motto is "others," and the slogan "I'd love to."
-The symbols are the pine tree, lighted candle, and pink rose.
-The colors are the blue of the sky, green of the pine, and pure white. Local colors are teal and purple.
-There are three degrees of membership: Degree of the Pine, Degree of the Light, and Degree of the Rose.
